Job Purpose: Seafast Group is looking for a Commercial Assistant Manager to enhance our Commercial operations. This role focuses on client and supplier relationships, internal sales, and developing our Commercial Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Commercial Assistants, focusing on client and supplier relationships, and internal sales.
- Implement training programs for Commercial Assistants.
- Support Operations with auto-rating function maintenance.
- Conduct sales calls targeting new, existing, and potential clients.
- Issue quotes for customers.
- Manage rate agreements and ensure timely renewals.
- Maintain tariff sheets for VIP customers.
- Support the development of the Seafast Global Network.
- Develop the DOMO reporting suite for the Commercial Department.
- Oversee VISA arrangements.
- Manage marketing and PR profiles on social media and the website.
- Support and grow Seafast's sustainability profile.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to maintain and develop a sales pipeline.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience supervising staff preferred.
- Excellent motivational and team skills.
- Ideally, a degree-level education.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with a "can do" attitude.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of air, sea, and road freight logistics.
