Are you passionate about early childhood education and have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum? Do you have experience working with children or previously as a teaching assistant? If so, this might be the role for you!
SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Hillingdon (Hayes).
Role and Responsibilities:
As a reception teaching assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively
- Engage with young children in a variety of activities to promote learning and development
- Assist in planning and preparing resources for interactive and engaging lessons
- Monitor and record the progress of each child, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school events and activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging
About you:
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Patient and nurturing approach to supporting children at the beginning of their educational journey
