Bristol - Hybrid (must be based in Southwest of England or South Wales)

Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 plus commission and private healthcare

Our client is looking for an ambitious, proactive, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a dynamic environment – no experience required!

The role is for an Event Partnerships Executive to join their fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with a variety of sponsors through email and telephone and will benefit from comprehensive support and training provided by their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients within the target market.
  • Client Outreach: Conduct calls, send emails, and utilize platforms to connect with potential clients.
  • Sales Meetings: Present and promote their events to prospective clients through meetings and presentations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position their events.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Report directly to the Global Head of Partnerships

To Be Our Client's Event Partnership Executive You Will Likely:

  • Have an interest in understanding what influences customers decisions and be eager to learn about the business factors that affect them
  • Having an interest in business is a must, as is an entrepreneurial spirit, a readiness to take responsibility for your work and, of course, great communication skills.
  • Passionate for new business sales/prospecting.
  • Enjoy working in a busy, team-oriented environment and be comfortable collaborating with others in a growing company.
  • Comfortable reaching out to and building relationships with senior leaders and executives.
  • Not have experience in conferences. They look for people who have done interesting things with their time – and who can grow and develop – rather than those who just have good qualifications.
  • Communication, research and great analytical skills are essential, along with an entrepreneurial flair and a target-driven mindset.
  • Keen to learn new skills.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
