Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Winchester to support them in finding an Assistant Management Accountant.
Our client is looking for a driven candidate who is eager to learn and develop their skills across numerous entities and industries, with the support of the wider finance team.

Duties to include -
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts for:
- Three newly formed businesses
- An existing business
- Raising recharges to other group companies
- Monitoring fixed asset register
- Processing employee expense claims
- Preparation of management accounts for the head office group company to include:
- Assist with re-forecasts.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with year-end statutory audit process.
- Assist with annual budgeting process.
- VAT & CIS returns.
- Month end journal postings.
- Processing a small number of sales and purchase invoices.
- Setting up and approving payments across numerous banking platforms.
Experience -
- AAT qualified
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excel modelling skills (desired but not essential)
- Sage line 50 (desired but not essential)
- Landmark Systems (desired but not essential)

- Team player, with a willingness to aid the wider finance team to ensure all deliverables are completed
- Highly accurate and numerate
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet required deadlines
- Have a can do and starter finisher approach to tasks
- Proactive and adaptable
- Strong communicator
Hours - 08:30 - 17:30 - 1 hour lunch
Salary - £30,000 - £35,000
Benefits - 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), 10% pension contribution, Study support, Paid parking, Discretionary annual bonus, BUPA private healthcare, Death in service.
