Mission:
Conducting measurement confirmation & data statistical analysis on supplier product. Ensuring that supplied product conforms to the Apollo design intent drawing requirements & / or testing procedures.
Accountabilities:
Maintain & continuously improve the Goods Inwards Inspection process. Liaison with external suppliers / internal customers regarding parts Quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Supplier investigation reports (SIR's) for non-conforming parts found during 5 x drop inspection or Quality calls from the Apollo manufacturing & assembly processes
- Support supplier component audits in accordance with the audit schedule / plan
- Manage programming of the OGP CMM machine and other applicable measuring equipment (ensure that latest level software changes are implemented
- Ensure that all measurement equipment is calibrated for use & adequately identified with an approved calibration label within the specified date
Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience of operating CMM's including programming
- Experience of having worked in a Quality Engineering role
- Working knowledge of SPC (Process capability / Statistics)
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Quality Management systems knowledge
