Grant Manager

Posted by Altum Consulting.

A world-leading grant-giving foundation working to reverse climate change through partnering with a portfolio of brilliant NGOs is currently seeking a Grant Manager to join its team. This role will manage various grantee relationships and oversee the grant-making process before monitoring grants through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong grant management experience (either within another grant-giving foundation or from an International NGO) to join a renowned and fast-growing organisation in a rewarding and well-paid position that will offer clear career progression.

As the Grant Manager your role will involve:

  • Working with a wide portfolio of grantees (international NGOs) and acting as their main point of contact within the Foundation
  • Reviewing grant budgets and KPIs
  • Ensuring key milestones and timelines are met for each grant and updating colleagues accordingly
  • Coordinating reporting and grant payments
  • Completing annual due diligence reviews for all grantees
  • Managing and resolving any grantee queries
  • Maintaining the grant management system

The ideal Grant Manager will:

  • Have experience working in a grant setting before, whether for a grant-giving foundation or a grant-receiving NGO
  • Have an understanding of finances pertaining to grants including budgeting and reporting requirements
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain internal and external relationships
  • Have a passion for solving climate change

This is a truly unique and excellent opportunity for someone to make a real difference within an impact-led foundation, taking a lead on climate change. The role will be hybrid with at least a couple of days a week in the Central London Offices. It will pay a salary of up to £70,000 per annum and could well go permanent once the initial 12-month contract term comes to an end. To apply, please submit your CV today.
