Careers, Advice & Guidance Advisor
- Reports to: Senior Careers Lead & Industry Placement Lead
- Location: Coulsdon area
- Salary: £32K-38K (Depending on experience)

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Coulsdon area.
Main Duties
- Providing outstanding careers guidance, counselling and information to learners
- Organisation of the careers resource area in working in partnership with the LRC, tutorial provision and Employer Services team
- Researching and providing up to date reports that promotes local and national career opportunities and local market information and to keep learners and tutors informed of new developments and trends
- To provide a drop in service and appointment service for learners
- Train staff on HE applications, UCAS, employability skills and up to date careers IAG
- Apprenticeship careers workshops
Requirements
- Diploma in Careers Guidance/IAG Level 3-Level 6 (Salary DOE)
- Experience and knowledge of offering and delivering careers IAG to KS4 up to level 4 learners as well as standard 16-18, apprenticeships and adult employability programmes on an individual basis or group basis
- Commitment to improving the lives of young people
- Able to pass a DBS check
- No previous convictions
