About the Real Estate (BTL/Bridging) BDM, Kent / Essex : Our client is a growing, innovative property finance lender with a strong appetite to lend supported by an excellent digital platform. As part of the next stage of their growth journey they are hiring into their Business Development team.

Perfect for an individual with a proven background in origination who wants to take ownership & responsibility for driving the strategy forward& building something new. Experience of real estate lending (particularly BTL & Bridging) & external network are preferred, coupled with a 'hands on' approach. This is a brilliant career opportunity carrying strong rewards.

Purpose of the Real Estate (BTL/Bridging) BDM, Kent / Essex:

The Real Estate (BTL/Bridging) BDM, Essex will be responsible for raising the profile of the organisation across the region in the Real Estate space, liaising with brokers & introducers to promote the organisation & educate the market as to their appetite.

The Real Estate (BTL/Bridging) BDM, Kent / Essex will be responsible for originating new Real Estate lending with an emphasis on Bridging and Buy to Let funding for experienced landlords. You will assess & shape deals & will proactively seek new opportunities to add to the organisation's growing lending book.

This is a great opportunity to work autonomously and have a real input into deal activity, working for a disruptive, innovative organisation with an actual appetite to lend.

Skills of the Commercial Banking, Real Estate (BTL/Bridging) BDM, Kent / Essex:

  • Experience in Real Estate lending
  • Good understanding of and track record in Bridging & BTL, with the attendant credit skills to be able to assess & structure lending in this sector, ideally having experience of lending in the £1m-£10m space
  • Excellent external network of brokers/intermediaries and a good profile/presence
  • Good track record of business development and origination of new lending, particularly focussed towards professional landlords
  • Possess the ability to work autonomously and will be proactive and self-motivated
