Cleaner

About The Role

  • To ensure cleaning is carried out to the current specification.
  • To provide cover where needed
  • All other reasonable requests as and when needed by the management team
  • Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Uniform will be provided, free parking & free of charge shuttle bus to and from Leatherhead Station.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Daily office cleaning/dusting/vacuuming
  • Cleaning of staff kitchens in designated area
  • Cleaning of toilets in designated area
  • Ensuring all toilet consumables are restocked daily
  • Cover to other sites when needed
  • Comply with periodic cleaning schedule
  • Ensure ocs uniform is worn at all times

Other Details:

  • Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
  • Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions
  • Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities. Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.
  • Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.
  • Group Safety Support: You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support. Furthermore, you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control.

Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / Objectives:

  • Ensure all areas designated for cleaning are done so in an orderly fashion
  • To ensure the ocs standard is upheld at all times
  • All defects reported immediately
  • Engage in merit training program

Requirements:

  • General education level
  • Cleaning background desirable
  • Team player,
  • Good command of the English language
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to follow policy & procedure
  • Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention vis prescribed changes
