We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Hereford, working in the education sector.
Role:
- Provide comprehensive IT support to staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of educational technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in the maintenance and upgrading of IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, and networking equipment.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and software in the classroom environment.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance IT literacy among staff and students.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Technologies:
- Microsoft Windows 11, Office 2019 and 2021 & Office 365,
- Virtual Desktops/Windows Hyper-V virtual machines
- Understand and support DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and WIFI systems
- Administering AD login accounts, Distribution and Security Group membership
- Supporting PCs, laptops and tablets.
- Backup procedures and Anti-Virus
- Supporting Apple products, specifically iPads & iMacs in an educational or corporate environment.
