As their Private Wealth department continues to expand, the firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Paralegal to join the Exeter-based team. In this varied and rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to:
Private Client Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of probate administration, including liaising with institutions and overseeing the payment of liabilities and legacies
- Prepare powers of attorney and assist with attorney/trust administration matters
- Ensure meticulous file management, from opening to archiving and billing
- Schedule and compile legal documentation
- Attend client meetings to facilitate the signing of documents like wills
- Build strong client relationships and support the team's marketing initiatives
Private Client Paralegal Requirements:
- A genuine passion for client service and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
- Superb written and verbal communication abilities
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues
- Attention to detail and a methodical, logical way of working
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary within private client matters would be highly advantageous, but applications from driven entry-level candidates will also be considered.
