Maths Teacher - Oldham - September start

September 2024 until July 2025.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Mathematics Teacher on a long term full time basis, starting in September 2024. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.

The Maths department is extremely supportive, with a strong team ethic, and the long-standing Head of Faculty has ensured steady improvement for the last three years.

The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment. We are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Mathematics Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience teaching in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Up to date prevent awreness training issued in the last 3 years
Up to date FGM training issued in the last 3 years

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
