TimePlan Education are currently looking for candidates to work in our mainstream primary schools working as a teaching assistant across different year groups. These roles range across EYFS - KS2 (all year groups within primary). TimePlan can help you find your next role within a school setting.

We are looking for individuals who have worked with children before whether they have worked with primary, secondary or nurseries. Most of our Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant roles are working 1:1 with different children with different needs such as Autism, ADHD, and Learning difficulties.

Teacher Assistant (SEN) role:

  • Help students with classroom tasks
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support
  • Create a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment
  • Assist with pupil supervision, including before and after school activities
  • Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding.
  • Working with ks1 children.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

  • A recent university graduate if no experience
  • Patient, empathetic and a sense of humour
  • Flexible and willing to help where needed
