Job Purpose
- Lead the firm's tax function ensuring excellence is delivered.
- Ensure the department is offering outstanding compliance and advisory services to a broad range of clients.
- Professionally represent the firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
- Drive strategic target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
- Mentor managers and support with their learning and development to ensure they in turn manage the junior team effectively.
- Uphold close liaison with other departments.
- Oversee workflow and improve processes where possible.
- Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
- Champion the firm's values within the team, motivating those around you.
- Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.

Job Requirements
- CTA or ATT qualified with extensive tax compliance and advisory experience within practice.
- Confident to represent the firm within new networks to secure new business.
- Previous senior management level leadership experience, with a positive attitude.
- Strategically minded in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
- Commercial acumen and an agile and flexible approach to leadership.
