Interim Finance Business Partner

Your new company
I am currently working with an amazing, global insurance company that is looking for a Interim Finance Business Partner. This role has come about as the current person is currently away, they are looking for someone to start asap on a 5-month contract. They are looking for a business partner who is energetic, willing to challenge processes, hit the ground running and is after a broad role that looks into Finance Business Partnering and Management account processes.

Your new role

  • Be responsible for presenting and challenging to senior executive level current forecasts, risks and opportunities
  • Key personnel for stakeholders across the business, manage relationships across the finance team and, wider company, especially the tech function
  • Provide and suggest scenario analysis and insightful reporting to the finance team, provide analysis to senior members
  • Responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, producing high quality analytical data and business plans, reporting back to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting and managing a small team, providing mentorship and development opportunities, reviewing key work and providing feedback
  • Understanding of financial controls including balance sheet reconciliation, month-end, year-end and improve efficiency of standard monthly/quarterly processes

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and must have experience with Finance Business Partnering and Management Accounts
  • Experience within Business Partnering with the tech function desired
  • Experience with senior stakeholders, building relationships, presenting and liaising with non-financial teams
  • Experience with monthly and statutory financial reporting, understanding of IFRS and balance sheet reconciliation processes
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle system is beneficial
