Purchase Ledger Clerk
Elite Garages, one of the largest tyre wholesalers in southern England, are looking for either one full time person or two people to job share in their accounts department based in Partridge Green. Working as part of a small team the primary responsibility is for credit control however there is a requirement to assist other team members as workload dictates.
Your responsibilities will include:
Purchase Ledger
Match entries on Purchase Ledger
Match to goods received notes.
Reconcile and post invoices onto system
Post and generate payments
Answer telephone account queries.
Assistance with Sales ledger admin
Taking Credit card payments
Answering phone calls
General filing and Adhoc duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in administration in an office environment and will have experience of working with computerised accounting systems as well as knowledge of Outlook and Excel. They should be numerate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise their own workload
