Details on Year 1 teacher role are:
- September 2024 Start.
- MPS1 - UPS3 Payscale - Experience preferred, however they are open to ECT applications
- Full time contract until the end of the Academic Year 2023/2024 with the possibility of permanent role.

The successful Year 1 teacher will need to:
- Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education. Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 1 with good knowledge
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and use creative approach
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
Academics Ltd are currently working with an Independent Preparatory school in the London Borough of Camden who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team.
The Year 1 teacher would ideally have previous experience as a full-time class teacher. However, they are open to considering ECT's and have a leadership team who can provide excellent coaching and mentoring support.
The School has a behaviour policy fully implemented across KS1, and adhered to throughout the school, resulting in pupils being aware of expectations.
The school will also provide the Year 1 Teacher with targeted CPD opportunities to develop skills and encourage career progression.
