Assistant Management Accountant - Stratford-upon-Avon - Permanent - up to £35,000 per annum DOE
Macildowie Finance are working exclusively with a client based in Stratford-upon-Avon who are looking to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a driven candidate who is looking for a business where they can follow a natural progression route within the next couple of years. This would be an ideal role for someone who is actively studying their ACCA/CIMA studies and would like to qualify within the next couple of years.
You will be working for a business that is part of a larger group, of which the whole group have a turnover of circa £600million. The right individual will have the opportunity to progress within the wider group in time to come.
This role will be fully office based.
- Some of the role's responsibilities include:
- Completion of bank reconciliation on a weekly basis
- Preparation of weekly and monthly balance sheet control reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Assist with the month end accounts
- Completion of cash posting for all areas of responsibility
- Carry out weekly and month end tasks to support the wider Finance Team
You will be/have:
- Studying or part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Experience in preparation of accounts accruals, prepayments, review of overheads
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable with finance systems
- A dynamic and determined attitude, with a desire to progress and take on a forward-thinking business attitude
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, building positive working relationships with other departments
