Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our clients team. This role is split equally between general warehouse duties and driving/deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and a valid driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
- Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch orders.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and organized.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Driving/Delivery Duties:
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Perform vehicle checks and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and carrying goods.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities.
