Reed has partnered with an exciting UK business that is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team. They are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and confident Credit Controller to join the finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and credit control.
- Handle the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, providing budget reporting to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast cash flow and manage credit risk.
- Send payment requests to customers and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts.
- Process invoices and credit notes efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sales and purchase ledger processes.
- Proficient in budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
