We are working with a successful financial planning firm to recruit for a Senior IFA Administrator to join their growing administration function.
Client Details
This is a well established, but growing firm based near Ellesmere Port, has over £150m worth of assets under management, with good access from motorway and public transport links. They are growing their advisory function and therefore now recruiting for a Senior IFA Administrator to help support the advisers as well as helping develop and grow the firm.
Description
As Senior IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing client portfolio valuations, producing illustrations and processing of new business
- Arranging meetings with clients for the advisers
- Handling client's requests and queries
- Preparing letters of authority
- Pension transfers, withdrawals etc
- Preparing suitability reports for the approval of the Financial Adviser in line with the company policy
- Helping with basic research for advisers
- Sending reports and investment information to clients
- Accurately submitting data on the system for clients
- Ensuring work is completed in specified timelines.
Profile
The successful applicant for this role must have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
- Experience of processing new business, preparing client valuations and transfers/withdrawals would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and platforms such as Quilter, AJ Bell and others
- Up to date with current FCA Legislation
