Finance Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Assistant for one of our partnership clients in South Sheffield. This is a non profit organisation where you will be able to get fully involved in all aspects of the accounts and make a real difference. You would be joining a close knit and supportive finance team and working closely with the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities
- Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Create working relationships with customers with regular spoken dialogue
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor customer receipts and follow up on overdue accounts
- Process incoming receipts in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities
To be successful considered for this role, you will bring the following experience / skills:
- Ideally AAT qualified / QBE with relevant experience
- Ability to prioritise your workload and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables
