Alloy Wheel Referb Technician
Salary: £30,160 per annum
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking an Alloy Wheel Referb Technician to join our client's team in Solihull.
In this role, you will be instrumental in improving the aesthetics and functionality of vehicles by restoring and refurbishing alloy wheels. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards, working within a cutting-edge body shop equipped with the latest tools and techniques.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical abilities and a commitment to producing exceptional work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of alloy wheels to assess damage, including scratches, dents, and other flaws.
- Prepare alloy wheels for painting according to specific guidelines, using the appropriate tools and methods.
- Execute minor repairs on alloy wheels, including work on Diamond Cut Alloys.
- Paining wheels using water-based paints.
- Mix paints to achieve an exact colour match.
- Professionally fit tyres.
- Conduct final quality checks on refurbished alloy wheels to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs completed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in alloy wheel painting & restoration.
- Proficiency with water-based paints.
- Valid UK driving license.
