About the role and the Team:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiasticCommunication and Engagement Officer to join ourteam on a 6-month fixed term contract. As a Communication and Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supportingourculture and engagementinitiatives, as well as our internal communications efforts. The ideal candidate is personable, outgoing, and detail-oriented,with a passion for organising events and supportingemployeeengagementinitiatives

What will you be doing?

  • Plan and support company events, including engagement events, recognition programs, and employee gatherings
  • Provide administrativesupport to the Culture and Engagementteam, including coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
  • Assist the Internal Communicationsteam in creating and distributing internal communicationsmaterials, including newsletters, announcements, and updates
  • Organise and supportHyperopticengagement and recognitioninitiatives to promote a positive and inclusiveworkenvironment
  • Supportemployee voice initiatives by gathering feedback, facilitating surveys, and providing administrativesupport for employee forums
  • Roll up your sleeves and assist with various tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating a can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in event planning and support is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to workcollaboratively as part of a team and independentlywith minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiaritywithcommunication tools and platforms
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous experience in supportingculture and engagementinitiatives is desirable
  • A genuine passion for fostering employeeengagement and promoting a positive workculture
