Business Administrator

Nicholas Howard are delighted to be recruiting an exciting new role for a Business Administrator to join an innovative Clinical Research Organisation. Working in a hybrid pattern, this role is a key touch point for multiple teams in the business, customers and visitors, and will benefit from a broad skill set and a candidate with great energy and a proactive approach to their work.

Due to an increase in the company size and complexity, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the business and support the Finance and HR team in the all round operations of the Company. The applicant will need to be adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to broaden their skill set and activities as required.

Role

  • To portray a professional image and be the first port of call for visitors/customers
  • To assist with the management of the BambooHR administration system
  • To assist with talent management including the recruitment of employees and liaising with recruitment agencies
  • To assist with on and off boarding of employees
  • Assist with time management/attendance records
  • Provide pension scheme administrative support
  • To support the Directors with administrative tasks including the organisation of Company meetings and travel
  • To assist with the managing of marketing/ social media platforms
  • Manage the administration of Company contracts
  • To act as Company Archivist
  • Administrative support for the 3rd party IT support team
  • To update the Company and Health and Safety Handbooks
  • To resolve office supplies and equipment
  • Adhoc duties

Skills and experience:

  • Business Administration graduate (or equivalent) with 1-2+ years' experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • A concern for quality, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational, computer and administrative skills
