Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich are looking for a confident and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both Purchase and Sales Ledgers, assisting with month-end processes, handling VAT returns, and more.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage all aspects of Purchase and Sales Ledgers.
- Assist with month-end processes and VAT returns.
- Conduct credit control and enter invoices accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Work collaboratively with other accounts staff members to assist with ad hoc duties.
- Maintain a positive approach to problem-solving in a busy environment and work independently within a small office.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounts department.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounts procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- IT literacy in Microsoft packages.
