Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of trades including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrics, painting, and fencing. The role involves working on a variety of maintenance and repair projects across residential and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plumbing: Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, installing and repairing taps, sinks, and toilets, and unblocking drains.
  • Floor Laying: Lay all different types of flooring Including, Lino, Laminate and wood flooring.
  • Carpentry: Undertake carpentry jobs including fitting doors, skirting boards, building shelves, assembling furniture, and minor repairs.
  • Electrics: Carry out basic electrical tasks such as changing sockets, installing light fittings, and conducting minor electrical repairs (within regulatory limits).
  • Painting & Decorating: Perform interior and exterior painting and decorating tasks including preparing surfaces, painting walls, and touching up damaged areas.
  • Fencing: Install, repair, and maintain garden fences, gates, and similar outdoor structures.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in various trades, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
  • Liaise with other tradespeople and contractors where necessary to complete larger projects.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, within the agreed time frames, and to the highest standards of quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrics, painting, and fencing.
  • Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices across trades.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple trades.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driving license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
