Are you looking for an LSA role working 1-1 with college students?
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a College Learning Support Assistant. This role involves providing essential assistance to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to educational opportunities and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
**Key Details:
- Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
- Long term position
- £Up to £17 an hour depending on experience
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
**Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teaching staff to identify students requiring additional support and develop personalized learning plans.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support sessions to students with various learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of strategies to promote inclusive teaching practices within the college.
- Collaborate with other learning support professionals, educators, and parents to create a comprehensive support network for students.
- Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive resources to enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and teaching staff.
