We are seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join our team, starting from Term 6. This full-time position involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The role includes comprehensive planning and marking responsibilities, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Provide feedback to students to aid in their learning and development.
  • Maintain discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive classroom management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in continuous professional development.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's science department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the science curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Proven experience in planning, delivering, and marking lessons.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that allows all students to thrive.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
