Reconciliation Lead required to join a highly successful and ever-growing business based in Manchester. My client requires a pro-active, enthusiastic team player who can bring their previous Reconciliation experience and enhance the dynamic and growing finance function in this market leading business. The client boasts an impressive customer base of well-known market leading brands within multiple sectors.

As the Reconciliation Lead you will be working closely alongside the Managers to assist with multiple high-volume transactions, chase issues and resolve any queries that may arise. This Reconciliation Lead position would suit an inquisitive individual who is able to work largely unsupervised and define their own work schedule and priorities and enjoy being part of the growth journey.

Key responsibilities of the Reconciliation Lead

  • Support Senior Management in reconciliations strategy
  • To be the first point of contact for junior members of the team, assisting with queries and escalations
  • Welcome the challenge of achieving daily KPI's
  • Produce key reports for Senior Management
  • Comfortable with processing a high volume of transactions daily
  • Deal with Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the business and Leadership team
  • Continuously look for ways of improving processes and implementing change

Required skills and experience of the Reconciliation Lead

  • Part-Qualified or Qualified by experience (preferably CIMA OR ACCA)
  • A strong working knowledge of Bank Reconciliations
  • Be able to give examples of process improvements in an ever changing business
  • Give solid examples of managing escalations
  • Skilled in interpreting financial data and able to analyse data using Excel
