Our client is a trusted childcare facility located in Farnham Common. With over 30 years of experience, they provide a welcoming home-from-home environment for children aged birth to 5 years.
The Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Room Leader, the Room Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a specific room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
This includes:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Observing and assessing each child's development
- Maintaining effective communication with parents and other staff members
- Providing guidance and support to the nursery practitioners in their room
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience within a childcare setting
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Level 3 childcare qualification or higher
- First Aid certification (Desirable)
