CNC Setter/Operator - Weekends
Location: Storrington
Hours: Friday to Sunday 06:00-18:00 (33 hrs)
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
An established manufacturing business in Storrington is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their night shift team. This is a hands-on role for someone confident in both setting and operating CNC punching and water jet machines.
Key Responsibilities for CNC Setter/Operator:
- Set up and operate CNC punching and water jet cutting machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce parts to precise specifications
- Maintain quality standards throughout production runs
- Perform machine checks, routine maintenance and report any faults
- Work independently while contributing to a wider team effort
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements for CNC Setter/Operator::
- Demonstrable experience with CNC punching machines and/or water jet cutting
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working fixed shifts Friday, Saturday & Sunday
