Customer Technical Manager

About the role

This role is primarily responsible for all technical activities associated to the Bidfood technical relationship for a large multinational chain of hotels and restaurants.

An integral member of the technical support team providing technical account management and direction to the client and internal account management team from concept of mobilisation through to stabilising appropriate reporting, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the clients requirements are met and exceeded.

As a member of the wider technical services team you will be required to provide support and advice to maintain the Food Safety, Legality, Quality – (Due Diligence) of the Bidfood product portfolio through interdepartmental, external supplier, trade body and customer liaison.

This role will also be responsible for the line management of the Customer Technologist and Customer Technical Assistant, all being primarily focussed on the specific client as needed, but able to support and develop other customer technical areas.

The role will involve aspects of travel within the UK and EU, so a full valid driving license is required.
