Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing organisation based in Staverton, Gloucestershire to recruit a dynamic and driven FP&A Analyst. Responsible for the control of core financial operational processes including revenue and cost of sales to ensure reliability of monthly financial outputs. An integral role to support management with the decision-making processes and enabling the development of strategic financial plans. Your new role

Your key duties will involve preparing for and attending weekly flash forecast meetings to assess the latest financial position of the company. Attending operational meetings to see where finance can positively impact the business, posting and reconciling items that relate to revenue, cost of sales and royalties, including both P&L and B/S nominals. You will support the maintenance/analysis of P&L, cash flows, B/S and other reports to summarise current and projected financial positions. You will support non-financial management to understand financial performance, to support decision-making, support budgeting/forecasting processes, data analysis to feed group reporting, and produce the management reporting pack including detailed variances to budgets, forecasts, and prior year analysis. You will ensure the appropriate internal/external controls are adhered to, preparation/completion of month-end journals/reports and ensure all reporting information is relevant/accurate.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this progressive FP&A Analyst role, you will need experience in a similar position, ideally part-qualified/qualified or studying towards full qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience. Strong systems experience with key MS excel skills, experience of analysing large data sets with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels to explain financial information to both finance and non-financial stakeholders. You will be adaptable to business needs, embrace/support change in a rapidly growing and progressive organisation, with the aptitude to work effectively under pressure. Experience within the manufacturing, engineering or aviation sectors within a larger group would be advantageous but not essential.
