Robert Walters are delighted to be working with a P.E backed services organisation based in Sittingbourne, Kent who are seeking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join them on an initial 12 month contract basis, with a view to going permanent.
This is a brilliant role for an ambitious Finance professional to join a highly acquisitive organisation who require some additional Finance support during this period.
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Overseee the timely production and maintenance of schedules for month end
- Preparation of monthly journal entries including accruals and prepayments
- Ownership of fixed asset register
- Review of P&L to ensure compliance group Finance policy.
- Assist with quarterly forecasting and budgeting when required
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
- Review VAT returns
We would love to speak to candidates with the following skillset and experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA, C.A) or QBE with demonstrable experience working in a Management Accounting role
- IFRS knowledge desirable
- Proven business partner with the ability to work autonomously when required
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
Our client is looking for someone to start ASAP and are offering a salary of between £55,000 - £60,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The role is being offered on a hybrid basis 3/2 split with flexibility where required.
