Inside Sales Manager

About The Opportunity

Our client is an award winning leisure venue who offer a wide variety of B2B and B2C events and services. With sustainability at their core their mission is to become net zero by 2030.

Due to continual growth and success they are looking for an experienced, driven and customer centric Sales Manager to lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives to in order to maximise sales through the successful conversion of multiple revenue streams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sales enquiries within the team are dealt with within 2 hours in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner ensuring all aspects of company policy relating to contracts, terms and conditions, yield management and payments are adhered to.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales and upselling opportunities
  • Carry out viewings with customers, ensuring the team deliver these to the expected standard.
  • Ensure all provisional bookings are proactively chased by phone and converted to confirmed business.
  • Conduct regular conversion days/conversion blitzes concentrating on key bookings and priority months
  • Manage the central sales inbox, delegating workload to the team
  • Assisting with other sales inboxes where possible, e.g. Christmas & Wedding
  • Ensure the team develops a good relationship with clients to maximise repeat business
  • Ensure all correspondence adheres to company standards ensuring a 94% target is achieved on test enquiries
  • Provide weekly reports with the commentary/update on the largest enquiries & site visits
  • Report on prospect business concentrating on key bookings and priority months
  • Ensure all event information on the bookings handed over is accurate and up to date
  • Conduct regular SWOT analysis and share your findings with the team. Keeping up to date with competitors rates and offerings.
  • Maintain relationships with external providers ensuring they receive quotes on behalf of the client in relation to outdoor activities and entertainment, transport and any other service required
  • Take ownership for the training of the Sales Executive team ensuring refresher training is given when changes are made.
  • Liaise with the Conference and Events Sales Office Manager to ensure best diary management practice is in place to maximise revenue
  • Achieve targets and objectives set by the Conference and Events Sales Office Manager
  • Support the Conference and Events Sales Office Manager on new initiatives and any ad hoc areas which he/she requires to drive sales
  • Liaise with Pro-active Sales team to ensure best diary management practice in place and revenue maximisation through converting business
  • Engage in social media initiatives to attract a wider audience of potential customers
  • Recruiting and onboarding new sales colleagues to the expected level of company SOPs
  • Producing relevant sales performance & conversion reports as requested by Conference & Events Sales Office Manager and/or Commercial Manager/Director
  • To lead & manage newly created telemarketing team, creating weekly reports to support their activities

About You

  • Proven sales experience within the hospitality sector
  • Previous experience leading a productive sales team.
  • A keen attitude to go beyond expectations and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work in a pressurised sales environment with good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure all information is accurately entered into the system
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Salary

Competitive salary of up to £31,000
