Their dynamic, fast-paced team is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support their compliance function on a temp-perm basis. This role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Description

  • Assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring the firm adheres to all relevant insurance regulations and financial services legislation.
  • Conduct routine compliance monitoring, audits, and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory filings and compliance documents.
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in financial services regulations and advise the team on potential impacts.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance training for staff.
  • Respond to queries from various departments regarding compliance procedures.
  • Help investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.

Profile

  • Immediately available or available within short notice.
  • Previous experience in a compliance or regulatory role, ideally within insurance or the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and the regulatory framework governing insurance firms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
