SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

A large world-renowned tech organisation is looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join the team on temporary 4-month basis!

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ROLE:

  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, including demand forecasting, procurement, production, distribution, and inventory management
  • Leading procurement activities, from supplier selection and negotiation to contracting, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials, components, and services
  • Implementing inventory control processes to balance stock levels with demand, collaborating with teams to forecast accurately and manage inventory fluctuations effectively
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers for reliable and timely deliveries, monitoring supplier performance and address issues promptly
  • Collaborating with production teams to create efficient production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods
  • Overseeing transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment, enhancing logistics operations for on-time, cost-effective delivery
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, implementing best practices to enhance supply chain performance
  • Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing strategies to minimize their impact, staying informed about market trends affecting the supply chain
  • Leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, providing guidance and supporting their growth

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ESSENTIALS:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of Supply Management experience
  • Strong grasp of procurement, production , logistics and inventory management principles
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and approach challenges with proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
