This is a brand new development role within a small but fast-growing technical production company. The Graduate Technical Production Manager will work alongside the Technical Production Managers supporting the end-to-end delivery of all physical build and technical elements of the projects.

This will involve assisting with quoting, event planning, ensuring technical requirements are met, sourcing kit and then assisting on-site.

The ideal Graduate Technical Production Manager will have:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline e.g. - Technical Production, Production / stage management.
  • Working knowledge of audiovisual equipment such as lighting, audio systems, LED screens, projectors
  • Knowledge of event logistics and power requirements would be useful
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating at a variety of levels
  • Self motivated, with great attention to detail

The Graduate Technical Production Manager will be:

  • Working with the Technical Production Manager to plan the technical requirements such as staging, lighting, sound, special FX that are required to deliver the project
  • Assisting with quote production
  • Assisting with sourcing, briefing and management of suppliers
  • Updating project budgets
  • Assisting with production of on-site schedules
  • Supporting with Health & Safety management

This role would suit an individual who has a passion for events and technical production. You should be able to think on your feet to problem solve and be a great team player. There is full training to develop into all areas of the role.

You will need to flexible in terms of hours and it requires travel away from home as you could be working on events such as Glastonbury and Euro-Vision.

A Driving Licence and car are needed for travel to sites. If you do not have a licence yet, Premier Production will pay £100 per month towards a travel card.
