Night Support Worker

A job opportunity has arisen for a Night Support Worker in Ipswich. This is a 2 month temporary contract ongoing, and you'll be required to work full time, 40 hours per week.
Length: 3 Month Temporary
Hours: Night shifts –10.30pm – 7.30am (4 days on, 4 days off)
Location: Ipswich
Pay: £12.75 per hour including holiday pay
The role involves:
Providing a night concierge service to residents and visitors within a young person's homeless hostel
Conducting curfew checks
Controlling access to the building
Monitoring CCTV systems to identify any possible incidents
Undertaking frequent and regular patrols of the building and monitoring any anti-social behaviour
Dealing with health and safety issues
Acting as a fire warden in the event of a fire alarm being triggered
Contacting the "on call" manager in the event of an emergency or serious incident
Being compassionate and caring in the event a resident is feeling vulnerable
Dealing with mental health crisis that may arise
Additional requirements:
Experience in a similar position working night shifts
An enhanced DBS with adults and children's work force check ideally from within three years or the willingness to obtain a new one
Experience working with vulnerable clients
