About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to work within the property team for a public sector organisation in Northamptonshire.
Accountabilities
- Responsible health and safety matters within this organisations property team
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to for construction and maintenance projects
- Provide advice on safety issues and legislation across this organisation
- Carry out safety inspections, investigations and audits in compliance with statutory requirements
- Make appropriate safety recommendations as required
- Presentation of health and safety information
- Provide guidance to staff within the organisation at all levels on a variety of health and safety matters
Candidate Requirements
- NEBOSH, IOSH or working towards
- Proven experience in Health and Safety ideally within the public sector
- Live a commutable distance to Northamptonshire
