Primary Teaching Assistant Doncaster EYFS SEND TA to work with children with EHCP plan and additonal needs requiring a 1:1 TA at all times, small group of 4-6 children that have a seperate support group with a few SEND TA. This role is for a clam candidate, not easily phased with experience of SEND and ADHD, ASD and working with children with impairments. SEND Support helping education and training. Ongoing until Summer 2024 starting ASAP for the right person this role is 3 days a week on set days.
Our ideal candidate for the role needs to be bright, positive and have the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly and not get easily flustered as this role will require you to support the school and somtimes changes might happen and the child needs support with communication issues, including speech and lanague, personal care needs and often may need to access outdoor spaces to help with desclation of behaviour. We need this practitioner to have a previous experience of working with pupils with challenging needs and an EHCP.
The candidate needs to be able to move around easily, get onto the floor as this role is within Early Years provison and needs someome who can support the students and get down on their level for engagement and ensuring well-being and safety.
