Job Advert - Design Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary Range: £33,000 - £43,000 per annum
I am currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our product designs using CAD software and 3D modeling techniques.
Required:
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (Creo, ProE and Windchill PDM)
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering
- Experience in product design and development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform analysis to ensure design feasibility and functionality
- Identify and propose innovative design solutions to enhance product performance
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize product manufacturability
- Perform regular design reviews and implement necessary improvements
