Position: Sprinkler Design Engineer
Location: Rochdale
Duration: Permanent
Salary: From 40,000 to £70,000 subject to experience level, 26 days holiday, Pension, Laptops and Phones provided, Car allowance £7200 or company vehicle, Bi – annual bonuses up to 5% of basic salary and profits shared.
We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Designer for a full time, permanent position within a very well-established company with offices based in Rochdale.
This position will be dealing with the full design of commercial sprinkler systems for refurbishment and new build projects on sites that include, warehouses, hospitals, data centres and shop fit outs.
The right person for this position will have a basic design course certification and a strong understanding of Sprinkler regulations in line with BS EN 12845.
They will need an understanding of how to use AutoCAD design systems, Revit would also be beneficial.
This role has potential to be a hybrid position, so you must a commutable distance from the office in Rochdale.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer/ Draughtman
- Must have a basic sprinkler design course qualification.
- It would be a major advantage if this person has worked on refurb and new build projects.
- LPCB competency course would be a major benefit
- CAD or Revit experience
- Based in a commutable distance to Rochdale.
- Must be willing to go to the office at least 2 days a week.
- Strong understanding of the BS EN 12845 and BS 9251 regulations.
