Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a rapidly expanding company in Diss who are looking for an experienced Assistant / Management Accountant to assist the senior finance management team for a period of 3-months.
The role will initially be office based, but after a few weeks, they are able to offer hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Your new role
In this temporary Management Accountant job, you will assist the team with monthly reporting duties covering checking the closing balances across the ledgers, account reconciliations, posting journals, accruals and pre-payments, as well as investigating transactional queries from the budget holders.
This will be a varied finance role assisting the Financial Controller and Finance Director, so you need to be flexible on your duties or projects assigned to you.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available and able to commit to a 3-month temporary management accountant job with experience of at least assisting and/or producing monthly management accounts.
We expect you to be confident with Excel in analysing financial data and investigating variances, as well as working with the wider finance team regarding invoice queries etc.
What you'll get in return
As explained, this will be a 3-month temporary management accountant job, and you will be paid an hourly rate of circa £30,000 - £36,000, depending on your experience.
