My client is a leading UK transport operator. They are searching for a Project Manager to join their team to manage a range of exciting projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of IT change projects in line with company goals and strategy.
This is a permanent role which offers hybrid working, based in the NW and Yorkshire.
Description
- E2E project lifecycle management using appropriate methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and agreed outcome.
- Producing and managing high quality project documentation
- Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Project planning including activity and task definition, working with relevant subject matter experts and stakeholders to define. Planning and communicating project timelines, highlighting changes to baseline.
- Implementing change control mechanisms and ensuring change requests are managed.
- Assessing impact against project scope, requirements, budget and timeline and communicating to stakeholders as required.
Profile
- 5 years' experience working within Project Management and/or other relevant roles
- Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
