Part time (30 hours per week)

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to manage and provide intensive housing management support at one of our Independent Living Schemes in Cambridge.

You will be responsible for the management of tenancies and duties that include: - completing support plans and risk assessments for residents, monitoring rent accounts, and re-letting our void units, as well as providing day-to-day housing support to customers.

This role is 30 hours per week, we can offer flexible working arrangements Monday - Friday. Access to your own vehicle and full driving license is preferred.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage an Independent Living Scheme by carrying out housing management duties.
  • Assessing incoming residents and support needs to ensure they can independently maintain a tenancy.???
  • Providing support to residents to offer activities to the scheme.???
  • Managing a scheme budget and identifying the needs of the scheme???
  • Assessing the housing and support needs of customers

We'd love to meet someone who has:

  • Excellent customer service skills putting the customer at the heart of what we do.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a social housing environment or managing an Independent Living scheme.
  • Experience in managing anti-social behaviour and safeguarding case work.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence to work and manage own workload independently with the ability to prioritise a varied and busy workload.
  • Experience in support plan writing with the ability to assess needs and risk effectively.
  • A sensitive and supportive approach to the needs of customers.
