Are you a Senior Land Surveyor looking to settle in with an up-and-coming business?

My client is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor, with experience working on construction and civil engineering projects, to lead a team of junior Land Surveyors while conducting topographical surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, monitoring and performing setting out tasks.

Key Responsibilities as a Land Surveyor:

  • Establishing and maintaining survey controls, setting out grid lines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
  • Mentoring junior Land Surveyors and other junior employees when required.
  • Volumetric surveys.
  • Accurately and consistently recording underground assets.
  • Data processing using Auto CAD
  • Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
  • Taking responsibility for junior team members.
  • Ensuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in surveying, construction, or engineering (or equivalent).
  • Ability to show previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with Auto-CAD and the usage of surveying equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and surveying records.
  • A full UK driver's license.
