My client is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor, with experience working on construction and civil engineering projects, to lead a team of junior Land Surveyors while conducting topographical surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, monitoring and performing setting out tasks.
Key Responsibilities as a Land Surveyor:
- Establishing and maintaining survey controls, setting out grid lines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
- Mentoring junior Land Surveyors and other junior employees when required.
- Volumetric surveys.
- Accurately and consistently recording underground assets.
- Data processing using Auto CAD
- Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
- Taking responsibility for junior team members.
- Ensuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in surveying, construction, or engineering (or equivalent).
- Ability to show previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficient with Auto-CAD and the usage of surveying equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and surveying records.
- A full UK driver's license.
