Student progress at both GCSE and A Level across the school is above the national average. In particular, we are highly effective at bridging the gap between disadvantaged students and non-disadvantaged students. We run an extensive intervention programme, at Key Stage 3, which means students who have low prior attainment are able to work on "catching-up" with their peers.
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic colleague to join our Creative Arts team as a Subject Leader of Music. The successful candidate will work across both key stage 3 & 4 and line manage the work of the peripatetic staff, as well as coordinate whole school music events, working in liaison with the Subject Lead for Drama.
This is an exciting opportunity for both a teacher who is looking for their first leadership role, or an experienced leader of Music who is looking for a fresh challenge.
