We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team starting this September. We are a specialized SEMH school committed to nurturing and developing the potential of each student.
Position: SEMH School Teacher & Keyworker Start Date: September 2024 Location: Taunton
Role Overview: As a teacher, you will be primarily responsible for teaching Year 9, with additional lessons for Years 10 and 11. Your subjects will include English (Year 9 only), Science, Food, Personal Development, and IT. Beyond teaching, you will serve as a keyworker, playing a pivotal role in our intervention strategies to support individual student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in various subjects to groups no larger than 9 students.
- Act as a keyworker, providing pastoral support and tailored interventions.
- Collaborate with our curriculum lead to ensure the effective delivery of educational schemes.
- Contribute to the school's restructure by demonstrating strong relational management skills.
